    What is a Wellness Alert?

A Wellness Alert is a brief email newsletter, sent free of charge to readers who enroll in our email alerts program. Wellness Alerts contain valuable information about healthy living in an easy-to-read format in six topic areas—healthy diet, dietary supplements, men’s health, women’s health, healthy heart, and lifelong wellness. We provide you with clear, unbiased, accurate information, vetted by our Editorial Board at the University of California, Berkeley, so you can make the most informed choices about your health and well-being. You can also read previous Alerts in each topic area on www.BerkeleyWellness.com.

How can I sign up for the Wellness Alerts?

Just enter your email address in our Sign Up Now box.

    What is a Wellness Report?

These timely, authoritative, annual publications provide up-to-date information in specific areas of preventive health care. Each report—which has been edited by one or more respected experts at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health—will keep you abreast of the latest research over the past year; evaluate new findings, so you will know what's important and what has changed; and bring you practical, specific advice on how you can live a longer, more active, healthier life.

    What is the Wellness Letter?

The WELLNESS LETTER is a highly acclaimed monthly print newsletter that has been the leading wellness resource since 1984. Rather than simply reporting quick health stories of the day, the Wellness Letter puts the news in perspective and evaluates it. It relies on the expertise of the School of Public Health and other researchers at UC Berkeley, as well as other top scientists from around the world. It translates this leading-edge research into practical advice for daily living—at home, at work, while exercising, and in the market or health-food store—and clarifies the often conflicting and superficial health information presented on the Internet, on TV, and in newspapers and magazines.
